If you're looking to drill, this group is for you. Join an existing drill meet-up listed here or add a date, time, and location for where and when you want to drill and automatically invite others in the group to join you. Drill meet-ups can be open to all or specific to player level, etc. Improve your skills with drills!

The latest research suggests that a drill "best practice" is to drill one specific skill for 15 minutes straight, and to do it on a daily basis. This gives the brain, during sleep, a better chance to retain the info and put it into long term memory.

We are getting started later than expected, but the Pickleball Power Hour is almost here! You will have an opportunity to show off your pickleball chops at this skills-based competition. No games, just skills. No partner needed. This event will be held rain or shine at the Pastore Youth Center (next door to the Cranston Y), hopefully in June depending on interest.

There will be a $10 entry fee to cover the cost of small prizes, medals, etc. The competition will showcase specific skills like dinking, serving, drops, drives, hitting targets, etc. If there is time left at the end, free open play will be available.

Date and time will be determined by participant majority choice and court availability. Please state your interest and availability in your response to this message so we can lock down the details. A minimum of 10 and maximum of 20 participants will be required in order to help things go smoothly and not take too much time.

I participated in a similar event while visiting Charleston and it was a lot of fun. Start drilling now so you will be ready to show off your skills at the RI premiere Pickleball Power Hour in June!
